Building Organizations in a Movement Moment is co-authored by GPP staff member Dave Mann and social change expert Beth Zemsky. The article is featured in the Spring-Summer 2008 issue of Social Policy. This special issue has articles from a number of social change organizers and leaders, who argue that we may be in a ‘movement moment’ in US history. Dave and Beth's article makes the case that progressive organizations and networks can use these changing times to move beyond reactive politics toward more purposeful, transformational social change.
